People residing in Oyeyemi idowu street , Okachi street and
Ayetoto street are currently witnessing havoc and doom.
Information came to me this morning that
a young man related to the Sabo Ajangbadi BALE
"name withheld" who had been sick had gone to the mosque for
prayers at about 5am this morning. On his way back, he carried out the Muslim
rite of a sick person pouring maize on the ground . He was approached by the
security guards on duty and was questioned. He felt intimidated as a relative
to the Bale and pulled a call across to his brothers and friends. It became a
very big fight between the Sabo boys and
vigilantes.
Unfortunately while one of the boys known as Segun but
popularly called Nokia was chasing the vigilantes, he was shot on the forehead and
died on the spot.
The police is still trying to restore peace in the area as the
boys have been destroying properties and they have
threatened to return by night to destroy more
things in the community until they provide the security that shot their brother.
As at the time of gathering this information nobody was allowed to come close
to the dead body.
Sabo Ajangbadi which is close to Ojo Alaba International Market has been deserted as the angry boys keeps destroying cars parked at the road sides and buildings along the road. More details shall come your way as they come. See pictures from the attacks below:
